Privacy policy of the eIFU portal: information on the processing of personal data when visiting the portal, requesting paper copies and subscribing to product updates.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this portal is Bissinger Medizintechnik GmbH, Musterstraße 1, 78532 Tuttlingen, Germany, email: datenschutz@bissinger.example. Our data protection officer can be reached at the same address with the addition "Data Protection Officer".
2. Data Processing When Visiting the Portal
When you access this portal, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, data volume transferred, browser type). These server logs serve to ensure the operation and security of the portal (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
3. Download Statistics
Downloads of instructions for use are recorded anonymously for statistical purposes (document, language, country of origin). It is not possible to attribute them to individual persons.
4. Requesting Paper Copies
If you request a paper copy of an instruction for use, we process the data provided in the form (name, address or email address, requested document) to process and dispatch your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR as well as our regulatory obligations as a medical device manufacturer (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR). The data is deleted after the statutory retention periods have expired.
5. Product Updates by Email
For notifications about updated instructions for use, we only use your email address after explicit confirmation (double opt-in, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe from the notifications at any time using the unsubscribe link.
